He shadows Joe's movements around London, loiters outside his apartment, constantly leaves messages and letters. ![]() Parry quickly fixates on Joe, and, deciding that he is meant to be the means by which Joe, a nonbeliever, will be brought back to God, Parry begins haunting him. Isolated, independently wealthy, Parry has attempted to suppress his homosexual inclinations by immersing himself in a fervent and very personal version of Christianity. In the aftermath, Joe exchanges words with Jed Parry, a deeply disturbed young man among those who came rushing to help. ![]() Joe is among the bystanders who race to seize the balloon, which is damaged, close to the ground, and being pushed by high winds toward a precipice. I have yet to read one of her books that I have not liked. into a small 360 page book that never fails. ![]() She fits all the romance, action, drama, etc. But, Jennifer uses all 360 pages to the maximum effect. I usually read books that are 400-500 pages long. One thing I also find amazing about her writing is that she can turn a book with approximately 360 pages or less into something big and brilliant. She can write any genre for any age group. Jennifer has an amazing ability to write. My review of the fourth book in the Lux series, Origin: I have a review of the prequel novella, Shadows : I will deeply miss this series but Opposition was the perfect ending to the series. A series like this only comes around once in a while and you will never find anything quite like it. The Lux series is witty, humorous, exciting, action-packed, romantic, and amazingly written. Armentrout is also one of my favorite authors. The Lux series is one of my ABSOLUTE favorite series and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone. Before I get all teary eyed and start spoiling everything, Opposition is the fifth and final book in the Lux series. ![]() ![]() Schreiber Award), PRELUDE TO A KISS (Tony Award nomination, Theatre World Award, The Clarence Derwent Award, Drama Desk nomination), HEISENBERG, THE SNOW GEESE, FOUR DOGS AND A BONE, BABYLON GARDENS and the American premieres of THE ART OF SUCCESS and COMMUNICATING DOORS.
